Tight Budget
ProMas Building were tasked with the complete renovation of this penthouse duplex in Marbella. As the apartment was to be a holiday home, being occupied only for a limited time each year, the interior design budget was fairly tight. The Swedish clients had travelled extensively around the world and stated only that they wanted their Spanish get away to have a contemporary look with clean lines. When clients live in a different country, they have not got the time or knowledge of the area to go searching for fixtures and furnishings. Having more than twenty years’ experience of home construction and design, ProMas were able to plan and procure all the furnishings from the fireplace to the bath towels, from the light fittings to the tableware.
Simple Yet Sumptuous
The white high gloss flat panel kitchen set the tone for the open plan living space. Keeping the mood calm and fresh, our interior designers echoed the kitchen with a stunning oval dining table. Black velvet dining chairs added a touch of luxury. The contemporary leather sofas with chrome legs keep the look clean yet sumptuous. To break up the monochrome background, Katherine introduced shades of amethyst, mauve and plum in the form of a Persian rug, silk cushions, vases and candles. Bright magenta tropical flowers keep the space fun along with the client’s own artwork adding a fabulous pop of colour.
