Earlier this month the ProMas office had the pleasure of attending the 4th annual charity gala for Maiti Nepal Marbella association, at Bono Beach.
Maiti Nepal is an inspirational charity founded by Anuradha Koirala in 1993 that combats human trafficking and sexual exploitation of young women in Nepal. Anuradha has dedicated her life to help these vulnerable women and children. Over the last 25 years they have opened three prevention homes, eleven transit homes, two hospices and a school. More than 1000 children receive direct services from Maiti every day. They also run a child sponsorship program that provides housing, schooling and support for these vulnerable people.
One dedicated supporter, Marianne Steneholm founded the Maiti Nepal Marbella charity association to help raise funds for this important cause. Marianne has been organising these galas in Marbella since 2016, and ProMas have been honoured to participate the last two years. With Marianne´s hard work and the generosity of the organisers and guests, this year´s gala raised a record of 87.000€ for the inspirational charity.
