The clients of this large villa, occupying an enviable position close to all the amenities Marbella has to offer, gave the team at ProMas Building a fairly open brief. The brief was to modernise the property inside and out and convert the basement into a further four bedrooms and bathrooms, finishing the whole project ready for the rental market. Although the budget was tight, both clients and ProMas Building are over the moon with the stunning new villa ready for chilling, swimming, relaxing and the odd party.
The dimensions of the rooms were generous and with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms in total, the challenge for our interior design team was to create a finished look on a very tight budget that didn’t lack style. Towards the end of the project, the client made further cuts to interior design budget. This is a sensible option when preparing a house for the rental market as you can always upgrade or add furnishings at a later date when it is financially more comfortable. Therefore the finished scheme, although wholly adequate for renting, maybe a little sparse……. but, we like to think, tasteful in every way.
